Steeledale Reinforcing is primary engaged in the supply of cut and bend reinforcing steel to the building and civil engineering industries as well as the on-site management and fixing of the reinforcing steel subcontract through various PDI fixing contractors.
Other specialist activities include the detailing of rebar to engineers’ designs, arma+ rebar client and the supply of mesh reinforcing.
Steeledale Reinforcing grew from a merger in November 2000 of two established companies in the reinforcing industry, Steeledale Reinforcing & Trading Company and Amalgamated Reinforcing Contractors. The company’s client base is the civil engineering and the building industry, government and semi-state organizations.
Autonomous provincial head offices and factories under the control of experienced management are located in all provinces throughout our country. In turn, these regional offices control factories in most major cities and towns offering the complete service of supply, cutting, bending and fixing of reinforcing steel and mesh. All our factories are NOSA graded and operate under ISO 9002 quality plans. Modern computerized equipment and sophisticated rebar management are used.
The company’s continental presence is maintained via operations in Namibia, Lesotho, Mozambique and Botswana. Other areas are currently under review.
